Special events in Caorle 

As far as the cultural events are concerned, the “Race for the little Madonna” is a very important event for the city of Caorle. During this race, all the stroke companies of the city compete to get a prize. “Vivistoria”, “Live the History” is an historical commemoration that puts on stage an historical fact that took place in the x century: the rape of some brides who had been promised to some Venetian nobles.They were raped by some Dalmatian pirates. The exhibitions starts with the arrival of the pirates and the raped brides at the port of Caorle, followed by the arrival of the inhabitants of Caorle who succeed in killing the enemies and show their corpses to the people on the street.
